Mai-Tai

A classic island cocktail offering a balanced combination of sweet and sour flavors. Amber rum and white rum blend with almond syrup and lime juice, while orange liqueur adds an extra depth of flavor.

Ingredients

- Old Madras Rum: 2.5 cl - Madras agricultural rum: 2.5 cl - Triple sec: 1 cl - Lime juice: 2.5 cl - Madras almond syrup: 1.5 cl - Lime wedge: 1 piece - Madras mint syrup: 1.5 cl

Recipe

Prepare the Mai Tai recipe in a shaker. 1) Pour the rums, triple sec, almond syrup, and lime juice into the shaker. 2) Add 8 to 10 ice cubes and shake for about 10 seconds. 3) Strain the cocktail into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice. 4) Garnish with a lime wedge and, optionally, a sprig of fresh mint.

Plantation Punch

A refreshing and fruity drink that evokes the atmosphere of Caribbean plantations. With its rich and complex flavors, it skillfully combines dark rum with orange, pineapple, and lime juices, creating an exotic tasting experience.

Ingredients

- Madras Plantation Punch: 10 cl - Vanilla brown cane syrup from Madras: 1.5 cl - Grated nutmeg - Cinnamon powder - Lime

Recipe

1) Pour the Planture Punch into a container. 2) Squeeze the lime and leave the zest. 3) Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla brown cane syrup. 4) Mix well and refrigerate for a day. Serve chilled!
